Mind games- random thoughts about life, goals and dreams

You have that notion, that idea 

of who you want to be,

who you would be if it hadn't been for certain circumstances.

You constantly speak of your plans,

your goals, the life you would have.

The life you should have.

And you always use excuses to explain yourself.
To explain your current state and why it is so different from the life you were supposed to have had by now.

We always keep confusing oursleves.
Thinking that there is someone else , 

"another me that will start that thing I wanted to do, will finish the other thing I left half way".

We tend to imagine another person's life and that person, in the near future, gets everything we ever dreamt of .

It's almost as if somebody else is accomplishing everything we ever wished for.
Another me.
Another you.

Another lifetime.
Maybe slightly better versions of us.
But we are not fightting this fantasy, we are embracing it.

Because deep down, we know for a fact that the dreamy life we imagine will be the best we could ever achieve.

Even if we had tried more than our best in the first place.
Which is sad really.

All these thoughts are just mind games you use in your desperate effort to control the future.
However, no man alive can do that, cause I have not met any god latelly, have you?
So for God's sake, we don't know if we will even die at the end of this sentence.
